I've been nominated for the Lindback! (and need your help)

I have been honored with a nomination for the Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching.

Its an honor just to be nominated. Early next week I have to submit an application packet to the Lindback committee and would love any (preferably) handwritten letters of support that you (my students and parents) could provide.

The letters that you write can address any of the selection criteria for the award. In other words, "Who do I (Mr. Jobs) deserve the Lindback award?" The award is based on the the following criteria:
  • teachers' success in creating a positive, supportive learning environment to advance student proficiency in academic subjects;
  • making learning relevant and fun; serving as a role model to students;
  • establishing trusting relationships with students, parents, guardians and community members;
  • motivating students to learn, explore and maximize their spirit of inquiry and critical thinking.
Any letters that can be submitted to me in Room 200 by January 21, 2009. Thanks for your support, dedication to academic achievement, and for making my job fun and fulfilling each day.
