Widely considered as the cradle of civilization, Bronze Age Mesopotamia included Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian and Assyrian empires. In class, we analyzed the following essential questions:
What did the first civilizations look like? What guided its development and centered its society? What made life in Mesopotamia more desirable than life as a nomad?
